S&P Global Pakistan Enters into Memorandum of Understanding with Team Up

S&P Global has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Team up Pakistan, aiming to establish a sustainable and mutually beneficial collaboration to provide employment opportunities to the youth and help facilitate the training and upskilling of young entrepreneurs in Pakistan. The partnership reflects S&P Global’s commitment to working collaboratively with the communities in which it operates, aligning with their people-first strategy and vision to power markets globally.

Under the agreement, S&P Global Pakistan will support and upskill entrepreneurs and students participating in the Career Launch Pad program of Team Up, which is based in the National Incubation Centre. This Centre, powered by Jazz and Teamup under the Ministry of IT and Telecom, is dedicated to nurturing and developing talent across Pakistan.

Zouhair Khaliq, Co-Founder of Teamup, expressed enthusiasm about the collaboration, emphasizing that it is a powerful combination that will unlock the potential of entrepreneurship and innovation. With their shared vision and expertise, the partnership between S&P Global and Teamup will pave the way for a brighter future of economic growth and development. It is a testament to their commitment to nurturing the next generation of entrepreneurs by providing them with the necessary resources and support to succeed.

Parvez Abbasi, Project Director of the National Incubation Center, also shared his excitement about the partnership. He highlighted that the collaboration between Teamup and S&P Pakistan will not only grant students access to valuable resources and opportunities but also contribute to promoting innovation and entrepreneurship in the community.
