On the 24th of February 2023, the Smart Future Technologies (SFT) team, led by Brigadier (Retired) Arshad Kayani, Head of Smart Technologies FHDL, visited the Huawei Office in Islamabad to sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between the two companies. SFT, a partner company of Habib Rafique Group Pvt. Limited (HRL Group) and Future Development Holdings (FDH), is involved in Smart Cities projects such as Capital Smart City and Lahore Smart City. These projects aim to connect people, things, and processes to create better living conditions.
SFT and Huawei plan to collaborate on key projects in Pakistan, with a particular focus on Smart Community projects. SFT will act as the developer, while Huawei will be the lead technology OEM. The two companies will work together on Smart Destination development, including architectural planning and construction execution phases, using key technologies such as Cloud Computing, Big Data, AI, Data Center Network, Storage and Servers, Data Center Facility, Intelligent Security Surveillance System, and Solar Energy.
Moreover, SFT and Huawei will cooperate closely on the latest updates and developments in smart technologies. The companies have agreed to work together in collaboration to develop innovative ICT infrastructure solutions that will serve as a game changer for the Real-Estate Industry in Pakistan.
