In October 2021, Microsoft released Windows 11, marking the beginning of a new era in operating systems. It was designed to bring users closer to what they love and offered an upgrade for those using Windows 10.
However, reports suggest that the tech giant is already planning the release of a new operating system, Windows 12, in 2024.
Windows 12 is expected to come equipped with new features, much like its predecessor. This release will follow a six-year gap between the release of Windows 10 in 2015 and Windows 11 in 2021.
It’s worth noting that at one point, there were rumors circulating that Windows 10 would be the last version of Windows from Microsoft.
