The champion’s trophy of PTCL Group’s largest E-Sports gaming tournament, ‘GameKey Arena’, was unveiled in Lahore, where the final 16 PUBG MOBILE squads will compete for the ultimate showdown. The tournament is being held on PTCL and Ufone 4G’s newly launched gaming platform ‘GameKey’.
The final contest will take place at Nishtar Park Sports Complex, with the prize distribution ceremony to follow. The top 16 squads from across the country will battle it out, and the winner and runner-up teams will be awarded a pool prize of PKR 3Million by PTCL Group.
The tournament is the first of its kind on the newly launched gaming platform, GameKey, and brought aboard more than 700 aspiring and experienced PUBG MOBILE gamers. 40 teams made it through the qualifiers, with 16 teams advancing to the final. Ten maps of the final PUBG MOBILE competition were played online, and the last five maps will be played tonight face to face.
After the final contest, a musical performance by popular Pakistani singer, Shamoon Ismail, will enthrall the audience. The semifinals and the online legs of the final competition were also live-streamed through Ufone 4G’s official YouTube channel, allowing gaming enthusiasts to catch the action live.
