The Institute of Business Management Annual Career Fair 2023
The Institute of Business Management (IoBM) recently hosted its annual Career Fair 2023. The purpose of the event was to help graduating students find appropriate job placements that would advance their careers.
Representatives from Over 100 Companies
More than 100 companies, representing diverse industries and including top management, CEOs, and HR directors, participated in the fair. This gave students the opportunity to interact directly with potential employers and demonstrate their skills.

Bridge between Students and Companies
The IoBM Career Fair serves as a bridge between graduating students and companies that offer employment opportunities. This year, the event was sponsored by leading brands such as Dalda, Shan, Meezan Bank, Wavetec, and the National Bank of Pakistan. Over 6,000 students, including both enrolled pupils and alumni, had the chance to explore internship opportunities and look for job opportunities.
Chancellor and President’s Comments
Chancellor of IoBM, Mr. Bashir Janmohammad, commented on the event stating, “IoBM is dedicated to providing students with professional development. We focus on delivering academic excellence and also serve as an agent to connect students with potential employers.”
President of IoBM, Mr. Talib Karim, added, “Our goal with the annual career fair is to streamline the process for both companies searching for talent and students looking to enter the corporate world.”
On-Spot Interviews and Career Counseling
The Career Fair 2023 was held at the IoBM Convocation Ground. Students had the opportunity to participate in on-spot interviews with visiting companies and attend career counseling sessions with senior team members from various corporate entities.
