The Ultimate Review of the Starbucks 2023 Fall Menu

Fall has started, and that means the Starbucks fall menu is out! In past years, the only menu item I’ve tried was the Pumpkin Spice Latte. However, this fall I decided to try the whole menu!

Overall, the ratings were all across the board. I tend to like pumpkin-flavored drinks more, especially the pumpkin cream cold brew. However, I hope that this informal article will help you decide what to choose!

Iced Apple Crisp Oatmilk Shaken Espresso

Rating: 2.5/10

The iced apple crisp takes last place on this list! While it was a good try to add apple flavor to the fall menu, apple and coffee didn’t go well together. The drink had a slight pesto aftertaste too.

Apple Crisp Oatmilk Macchiato

Rating: 3/10

While better than its iced companion, the macchiato was not much better. It was with a heavy heart that I ordered this after school-having already embarked on my disheartening apple cider flavored journey. Fortunately, it was not as bad as the iced drink. However, I prefer to stay on the pumpkin side of things!

Iced Pumpkin Spiced Latte

Rating: 4/10

The PSL is the most iconic Starbucks fall menu item! I’ve had it hot many times, so this time, I decided to get it cold. Due to the PSL being cold, I gave it a slightly lower rating. Not a bad menu item, but keep it hot! Out of all the pumpkin-flavored menu items, this drink carries the most concentration of flavor.

Pumpkin Cream Cold Brew

Rating: 7/10

The Pumpkin Cream Cold Brew is my favorite item on the fall menu! The drink is made up of slightly sweetened cold brew with pumpkin-flavored foam and cinnamon on top. Although the flavor combination is a little strange at first, after a few sips, it’s great! If you are like me, and don’t like your coffee flavored too much, this is the way to go!

Iced Pumpkin Cream Chai Tea Latte

Rating: 7/10

I give the Pumpkin Cream Chai Tea Latte the same rating as the Pumpkin Cream Cold Brew. However, they taste pretty different! The Chai is new this year, and a good introduction! The drink has no coffee, but still contains caffeine because of the black tea. A few disclaimers I would give for this drink is that it is very sweet and contains a lot of cream. I would recommend asking for less sweetener if you ever decide to get it. If you are not a coffee person, then this is definitely the way to go!

The Starbucks fall menu was definitely worth the wait. It was so exciting trying them all! I can’t wait until the winter menu comes out!
