Honor Magic V2 RSR Porsche Design Debuts with Sporty Look

Tech and Telecom

Honor recently revealed its partnership with Porsche Design, and the first product to emerge from this collaboration is the impressive Honor Magic V2 RSR Porsche Design. This exclusive variant offers a sportier interpretation of the already high-end foldable Magic V2.

Top-Notch Configuration and Distinct Design

The Honor Magic V2 RSR Porsche Design shares the hardware configuration with the Magic V2 but stands out with its top-tier specifications – boasting 16GB of RAM and a massive 1TB of storage. The exterior, however, takes a unique turn. Adorned in the iconic Porsche Agate Grey, the body incorporates Porsche’s distinctive “Flyline” design, giving it a dynamic and aggressive appearance even when stationary.

Aggressive Aesthetics and Premium Build

The ‘Flyline’ design concept extends to the rear, creating an impression of high-speed motion. The camera island features titanium alloy lettering, contributing to the overall sporty aesthetic. Honor intriguingly describes the phone as having a ‘Sports car fiberglass body,’ adding an extra layer of mystique to its construction. Despite its luxurious features, the Honor Magic V2 RSR maintains a feather-light weight of just 234g, thanks to its magnesium alloy frame and titanium alloy hinge mechanism.

Performance and Display Features

Under the hood, the Honor Magic V2 RSR is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip, ensuring top-notch performance. The device boasts dual screens – a 6.43-inch 1080p 120Hz LTPO OLED cover display and a larger 7.92-inch 2156x2344px 120Hz LTPO OLED inner display. A robust 5,000mAh battery supports 66W wired charging, ensuring efficient power replenishment.

Impressive Camera Setup

The phone boasts a triple camera system, including a 50MP f/1.9 main camera, a 20MP f/2.4 2.5x zoom camera, and a 50MP f/2.0 ultrawide shooter with autofocus. Additionally, there’s a 16MP f/2.2 selfie camera on the cover screen.

Availability and Pricing

The Honor Magic V2 RSR Porsche Design is set to hit the Chinese market on January 12, with a price tag of CNY 15,999 (€2,050/$2,250/£1,770/INR 190,000). Considering the inclusion of 16GB RAM and 1TB storage, this offering provides a compelling option for users seeking high-end specifications.
