Transformative Event SOT 2023 Wraps Up on a High Note

Edition Sixteen of the School of Tomorrow (SOT) Events, titled ‘Guardians of the Future: Shaping Tomorrow with Generative AI,’ has successfully concluded at the Pakistan National Council of the Arts (PNCA) in Islamabad. This event, is organized by Beaconhouse, Pakistan’s largest network of educational institutions. This event attracted participants from diverse fields, including writers, policymakers, artists, educationists, students, and experts

Opening Session Highlights

The opening session, aptly named “Setting Directions,” delved into topics and actions aimed at making the world a better place for future generations. Moderated by Kasim Kasuri, CEO of Beaconhouse and Chair of SOT Events. The panel featured insightful discussions with figures such as Jamal Shah, Dr. Basit Riaz Sheikh, Mumtaz Zahra Baloch, and Paul Hutchings. An exclusive keynote by Mr. Sean Covey, President of FranklinCovey Education and author of ‘The 7 Habits of Highly Effective Teens,’ added a unique perspective, complemented by an interview with bestselling writer Jeffrey Arthur.

Global Discourse on Critical Issues

Conversations throughout the conference revolved around global and local issues cutting across disciplines. Emphasizing the creation of a more inclusive and peaceful world that values children’s rights. Speakers addressed critical topics, including sustainability, child labor, animal rights, conflict, bullying, and self-image in the digital world.

A Pioneering Move by SOT

SOT in Pakistan introduced AI panelists, breaking new ground and exploring generative AI’s role in shaping the future. With over 40 discussions featuring 150 global thought leaders. The event offered valuable insights into education, healthcare, athletics, and social and environmental development
