Tech and Telecom

In the wake of a recent earthquake in Morocco that has led to large-scale casualties and mass displacements, Pakistani telecommunications company Ufone 4G has launched an initiative to help people connect with their loved ones in the affected area. This move is an extension of Ufone 4G’s Corporate Social Responsibility program and is aimed at providing support to families with relatives currently in Morocco.

Understanding the profound distress that the Pakistani diaspora and their families may be experiencing during this calamity, Ufone 4G is introducing a 7-day call package. This package offers a generous allocation of 30 minutes of free International Direct Dialing (IDD) calls to Morocco. To subscribe to this package, users can simply dial *2255#. Importantly, this facility remains valid for an entire month, ensuring ample time for those affected and their families to reach out and find strength and solace in the comforting voices of their loved ones.

This initiative by Ufone 4G signifies the company’s unwavering commitment to supporting and standing in solidarity with those affected by natural disasters. It exemplifies their dedication to keeping people connected, particularly during challenging times, transcending international borders in the process.

Ufone 4G, as part of the PTCL Group, has consistently been at the forefront of leveraging technology to bring people closer through its CSR program, making a positive impact on society. This latest effort to provide free calls to Morocco is a testament to their ongoing mission of connecting people and supporting communities in times of need.
