The 2nd International Solar Energy Meet (ISEM) and IEEEP IREM Expo will be held at Lahore’s Expo Center from Friday, May 12. Local and international energy and power sector experts will attend the expo, which will primarily focus on renewable power, particularly solar power generation. The event has organized by White Paper Summits (WPS) and will run from May 12-14. The Federal Minister for Energy (Power Division), Eng. Khurram Dastgir Khan, will inaugurate the expo.
WPS will also partner with the Institution of Electrical and Electronics Engineers Pakistan (IEEEP) to organize a conference that will feature 11 expert speakers. This conference is one of the main events of the three-day expo. During the conference, speakers will share their case studies, technical presentations, and latest insights on the issues and solutions facing Pakistan’s power and renewable energy sector. Attendees of the conference will include IEEEP members and Technical Delegates. The conference will also include active Q&A sessions and networking programs, facilitating access to industry-leading knowledge, information exchange, and actionable takeaways.
The expo will feature over 150 stalls, with more than 30 international exhibitors due to the Pakistani government’s favorable policies towards solar power generation, which attracts foreign investors. Over 120 local exhibitors will also showcase their products during the three-day solar show. The event has expected to attract over 8,000 attendees, including top international and local exhibitors, and acclaimed technical expert speakers, providing unlimited business networking opportunities and B2B deals.
According to the organizers, the ISEM is the ideal meeting place for global and local stakeholders, C-level executives, leading industry experts, manufacturers and suppliers, decision-makers, policy makers, and government officials who are shaping the future of the solar energy sector in Pakistan. The ISEM will focus on Off-Grid and On-Grid Solar PV Applications, Solar Financing, Solar Investments, PV Modules & Hybrid Systems, Battery and Storage Technologies, Inverters, and Solar Structural Systems.
The IEEEP IREM Expo, on the other hand, will focus on Power Transformers, Power Technology, Capacitors, Batteries, Heavy Duty Cables, Power Distribution Equipment, Wind Energy, Hydropower, Bioenergy, Bio Gas, BioFuel, Hydrogen, GeoThermal Energy, Solar Energy, and more.
