A ceremony was held at FJWU to mark the partnership and a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between Jazz and FJWU. This partnership is a reflection of Jazz’s commitment to fostering sustainable growth in Pakistan through innovation. The program will also provide students with exposure to tech journalism. Jazz CEO, Aamir Ibrahim, stated that positively impacting the lives and livelihoods of women is at the core of Jazz’s mission and this partnership aims to encourage more women to participate in tech-based discussions in the country. Jazz’s partnership with FJWU demonstrates their dedication to national development and digital inclusivity, and aligns with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals 5, 9, and 10.
